It’s one of those weird days (17 and overcast) where it feels sort of warm and humid and chilly in a way. I’m not complaining, it beats the heat waves in more eastern parts of the country
People vandalized a bell at the museum. This annoys me. Isabelle takes a more nuanced view, as she does.

Yup, we didn’t have one last week, we were away!
Away where you ask? We were in London, ON, for our niece’s wedding! It was cool. there was a tea ceremony.
We drove there last Wednesday, and returned partway home on Sunday.
We stopped in Sudbury on the Sunday and boy was it smoky, the worst either of us have ever experienced.
I mean so bad it felt like I’d smoked a pack of Players’ Plains.
There was a monsoon while I was shopping.
Nice day today.
Tom, Isabelle’s former prof and our former colleague, is in town.
They are checking out the public art project from last year.
We hope another colleague stays.
No real smoke today, though it tastes like.a steel town.
