Episode 31 - There Are Two Kinds of Pain

Isabelle just got back from a trip to her hometown, Quebec City, QC.  While she was there she had to install a wifi network at her Mom's place in order to watch House of Cards on her iPad.  OK, this episode of the podcast contains a large number of spoilers, it is full of spoilers, spoiler alert.  If you have not seen House of Cards Season 2, and don't want to be spoiled, don't listen to this one.  Spoiler Alert.....  Ok, is that enough?

We also talked a bit about the Olympics, about gay rights, about the Magdeleine Laundries and about various other fun things.

Oh yeah, spoiler alert...

Episode 28 - The Canadian National Day of Dudecasting

Yes, it is that time of year again, the Canadian National Day of Podcasting has arrived.

Isabelle and Scarborough Dude

Isabelle and Scarborough Dude

Every December 1 Canadian podcasters (amateur ones, not wearily marketing types) put out an episode, even if the show itself is gone or 'podfaded' (god I hate jargon).

Indeed, the CNDOP is what kept the old Broca's Area alive and eventually led us to return.

Oh yeah, the Dude is still here dude......

Episode 25 - Abstract Speaks To Isabelle

So, like, yeah, we're back.  Tonight we had a few things on our mind.  For reasons that have completely escaped me we somehow started talking about the Battle of Thermopylae.  Oh yeah, Isabelle was talking about her art history class and Greek architecture.

We then got into how damned depressing the world is.  I mean hell, the warming and the disasters and the what have you.

What women are good role models?  Do you think women have a different approach to politics than men do?

Local colours, but maybe less representational, see, I know art words....

The Canadian Senate is full of weasels.

We got into art some which was fun.  Isabelle is doing some cool work on what they call 'representational' art.  From what I gather, this means pictures of actual stuff rather than abstract things.

Thanks for listening, thanks for the comments too.

Oh here is a direct download link if you are so inclined.
