Episode 157 - Don't Forget To Like and Subscribe

Off again to the various shopping places.

It is cold again, and it snowed again, and daylight saving time starts again.

Isabelle had her thing for those awards this week.  She didn't win, but she met a lot of people.  One of the people she met will help her get volunteers for the arts council, so that's cool.

We talked about instructional videos and how they are often way too detailed and don't get to the big picture.

The other thing videos do is you get too much intro, too much reminding to like and subscribe and all of that.

Hope you like this one.  Thanks to Rachel and Greg for the comments, and thanks to Michelle for the nice messages to Isabelle.

Episode 156 - A Constant State of Self Rejection

Who knows what today's podcast will bring?  I don't.  We haven't started recording yet.  I am, however, warming up the car as I type this.  It is the closest thing I have to driving.

It's still cold out, even after our nice warm stretch.  That said it is sunny today.

We talked more about how Isabelle feels about her award nomination and recognition in general.

I had a senate meeting this week, it was a hellish nightmare.

There was stuff in my Pernod, so they got me a new bottle.

Hopefully now you can see the evil vertigo inducing steps at our grocery store.

Episode 155 - Michael's is Full Of Smelly Things

We went shopping a day early because Jon had a dentist appointment this morning and then his class had a tour of Sault College.  The college is right near the grocery store and the LCBO, so we went shopping while Jon's class had their tour.

Anyway, we went to Michael's which is an art and craft supply store.  I have like zero interest in a place like that (though I did find some model planes, sadly no WWII ones).  I felt like I was with my Mom and I was four and we were in a fabric store.

Jon also noted that Michael's smells funny.

Hey, Isabelle has been nominated for an award!  She deserves it, and I am very proud of her.
