So, we actually recorded this yesterday, but ‘m just getting around to it today.

This is a short one, no LCBO trip etc. So those of you who are bag or box fans are left out. We apologize for the inconvenience.

We too Jon in to the bush plane museum and were hoping to see his teacher, but she was not int, there was a sub.

Hey, they have a new helicopter, and it looks like one of those Bell choppers from MASH.

As I often do, I’m writing this in advance of actually going shopping.

I never know what we’ll talk about, but I can be pretty sure we’re going to mention the biblical level rain we had on Monday night. We got 135 mm of rain in that day, but both in bouts of about an hour. We’ve been through a couple of hurricanes. I’ve never seen rain like this. There was, of course, flooding. Happily, our Cadillac of sump pumps kept everything dry.

Google knows we are shopping.

I got an Amazon package, picked it up at a weird and wonderful store.

Isabelle’s done her brains.

What’s the deal on people on planes?

So I just got back from my whirlwind tour of Bucknell University’s animal behaviour program. It was a great trip. That said, I had to run through airports. The Delta airlines people were great at helping me get to gates.

Lewisburg, where the university is, is a nice little town. I had fun talking to colleagues and visiting research labs. But wow, it was draining. I’m happy to be home.

Isabelle is working on a series of paintings about brains. Great stuff.

It’s getting cooler out, fall is here.

Isabelle will be going to a performance art thing tonight. We talked about performance art and its relationship to art in general.
