Hard to beat Harrison Ford in anything....
Jon and I went to see Ender's Game on the weekend and had a pretty good time. I am writing this before we record but I am going to go out on a limb and say he gives in 3/5. I would give it a 3.5 myself.
Jon of course talked about the previews we saw, including 47 Ronin, I Frankenstein and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.
We then talked about some odd MLP stories that he is working on.
One day I will get him to not give a movie 3 out of 5, I swear.
Jon invents an airplane and a hilarity ensues.
Man it is cold out. Anyway, today we talked a bit about a new movie idea, a Super Mario Brothers remake with a hell of a cast.
In this episode I try to get Jon to explain why he gives everything three out of five, to no avail...
On the way to school this morning Jon and I discussed the very wet Halloween we just had and the new Jon Brodbeck Science Building.
Today's Jonathan Files is a short one. Jon decided to record about half way on our walk to school. He won't review software, but if he did, he would give it 3 out of 5.
We were on our way to school and of course Jon saw a movie on the weekend. The movie, Gravity. He liked it, he seemed to especially like Sandra Bullock's performance, though he said she was better in The Heat.
Of course we got to Jon's rating and he gave it 4 out of 5. Kidding, he gave it 3....
I guess with these on he sees in 4D....
We talked a bit about upcoming films Jon wants to see and the previews he saw. We would both like to see The Monuments Men when it comes out.
We talked some about elevators as well, but, I must admit during those bits I am completely at a loss. I couldn't tell the difference between a Dover and an Otis if you paid me...
Our standard walk to school. Oh Jon wants Leonardo DiCaprio tho play Jesus in a movie....
Today Jon and I went to see Captain Phillips. Wow.
Yesterday we tried to go see Rush, but the audio was screwed up and we could not hear the voices. Thankfully the folks at Galaxy Cinema made it right, refunded our money and also gave us passes for another movie, so as mentioned, today we saw Captain Phillips.
Now, I would give it 4.24/5 I think. Jon, of course, gave it 3/5, laughingly.
We then recorded some stuff on the bus, the packed bus where we had to wait a while to sit down. Anyway, we had a great time today, and Jon and I hope you like this episode.
And guess what he gave it?
Jon and I talked about his week at school, which included a vaccination and a school trip. Oh and elevators....
Today we talked about what Jon likes in school, and his French teacher a bit.
We went to see Elisyum last night. I imagine you can guess what Jon gave it out of five....
This morning on our way to school it was -1 C out. This got us talking about seasons and what Jon likes about them. Jon was not that talkative through this one, but of course he eventually got into it.
Jon and I went for a little walk on a Saturday afternoon and talked about our day. We also talked a bit about the video Jon just uploaded to Youtube about an elevator at the Roberta Bondar Building. Oh here is the video:

Jon and I talked about the recent storms and flooding in Sault Ste. Marie, and some other stuff, you can probably guess what the other stuff is.....
Jon saw 'We're The Millers' on the weekend and gives us his review. As usual, he gives it 3 out of 5....
And we can no longer shop happily....
Anyway, today we were on our way grocery shopping, so we recorded some on the way there and some while shopping.
Jon talked a bit about his first day of school, and a bit about standard Jon stuff, you know, like the hotel he claims to be designing....
Jon starts grade 7 today, seemed a fine day to record, to talk about school and, of course, MLP...
We also talked a bit about elevators, Jon has released his first video on that subject.
In this episode Jon and I talked about his recent viewing of Kick Ass 2. Spoiler alert, he liked it. Then we went on to some MLP FIM fan fiction.
