Episode 144 - Christmas Tree Special!

It is that time of year.

The time when we go get a Christmas tree during a blizzard and strap it to our car.  But, not this time!  No, this time we put it in the back, I mean we have an SUV, why in Christ haven't we thought of this before? It's a Christmas miracle!

We talked a little about a couple of other things during the episode too.

Amazon video is in Canada.

Isabelle is doing cool projects with Jon's class.

Plus, we can fit a Christmas tree in our car!

Episode 143 - Not Illustrative

I had a great idea for a title, alas, rejected.  This title is pretty good too, but mine was gold Jerry, gold.

Today we have FOUR stops, as we're returning empties!  We also got gas.

It is the end of term, this pleases both of us.

Isabelle will be devoting her time to her art, and another thing we can't yet talk about.  She also is looking in to making her series on the cow and the zebra into a kids book.  Very exciting that.  The thing is that the story came from the painting rather than the pictures coming from the story.

It's getting cold in norther Ontario, -9 today.

We hope you like this one.

Oh, and, one more thing......

Episode 142 - The Invasion of the Philistines

Jon got a little arted out after a while...

Jon got a little arted out after a while...

So, I had a work trip to Toronto for the Council of Ontario Universities, and, there was a show at the Art Gallery of Ontario.  Plus, Porter had a deal on cheap flights, so why not all of us go to Toronto?  So, well, so we did.

(To be clear, Jon and I, probably mostly me, that's what the title refers to).

It was Jon's first flight since he was a baby, and it went well.

I worked, and then instead of coming back to a hotel room that was empty, I came back to see Isabelle and Jon!  This pleased me.

We also met up with old friends we hadn't seen in 18 years, which was great.

We went to the show at the AGO, there was some good stuff.  Also, there was stuff by hacks...

We went through the drive through on the way home, in honour of Jason Reese.
