Episode 63 - My Mind Is Full of Artificially Intelligent Sex Robots

The excitement began with Maddie forgetting that she needed to boil eggs for her chickadees.  There's a sentence you never expected to read I imagine.

We talked a lot about why storage facilities are a thing.  Why the heck do people have so much stuff that they need extra space to store that stuff.

We now have hot water.

I will be starting a new podcast where I interview scientists study animal cognition.   Should I release them as I get them or hoard them up a bit?  Should I talk about non science stuff too?

We got some comments last time and we always appreciate those.

Just for MMD, Isabelle told the butt crack story.

What is a podcast anyway?

Episode 62 - Bike Racks and Army Jackets

The bike racks are here the bike racks are here!  Last week Isabelle bought a bike rack that I tried to put together and well, you know it is much easier to put stuff together when you HAVE ALL OF THE PARTS.....

So we got some good bike racks and they are installed.

Why do we care about why people die?  Why are there three high end bike shops in Saul Ste. Marie?

You got to hear a bit of Jon's soccer practice.  The thing that will strike you is that it just sounds like a soccer practice.

We ended by talking about David Letterman.

Episode 61 - Family Grocery Soccer Cast

Of course it is Saturday.  Of course we went grocery shopping.  Of course we went to the liquor store.  Of course Maddie had to go to the lab and therefore we drove her.  Of course Jon had soccer.  Of course we recorded it.

We talked about a lot of different things.  One of the burning questions we asked was, can our little town support so many home improvement stores?

We talked a bit about Madeleine's future in grad school and such.  Pretty exciting times for the Michaud-Brodbeck family.

On the way back from Jon's soccer we talked about how great the coach is.  I think it is because he just treats kids with autism the same as any other kids.

The song at the end by Billy Bragg is there because he did it so well on Letterman so many years ago and I can't believe this is Dave's last week.
