Episode 65 - Take Two

We recorded an hour this morning on our shopping excursion.  However, Bossjock decided to crash and we ended up with only 16 minutes of audio.  So, we started over tonight.

We talked about my interview on the CBC which I have included at the beginning of the podcast. Oh the guy called me 'Broddeck' but heck, there is a typo on the UN site, so don't get mad at him.

We then continued our discussion of Maddie and her awesomeness.  Oh, you don't like it?  Too much Madeleine?  Well what did you pay for the podcast?

We also had a discussion about cognitive dissonance and about the model of Harold and the Purple Crayon Isabelle is making.

Episode 64 - Of Galas and Airplanes

Wow, what a weekend.  Our two mothers were here, Madeleine graduated from university and received the smartest kid in the university award, Jon was awesome and I was named the greatest living human by the United Nations.

OK, some of that might be hyperbole....  However, Maddie does now have a BSc(Hons) in psychology, and our mothers were here visiting to watch it (you can hear both of them scream on the audio when Maddie gets the Governor-General's silver medal) and we did go to the convocation gala and Jon was great at it.

The Moms flew home in the past couple of days, but, Isabelle's Mom didn't have any (unexpired) photo ID.  It all worked out though.

Oh and the UN likes me, they really like me!

You may notice us talking at the start as if there was other stuff already recorded.  Well, there was but well, there wasn't sorta.

Episode 63 - My Mind Is Full of Artificially Intelligent Sex Robots

The excitement began with Maddie forgetting that she needed to boil eggs for her chickadees.  There's a sentence you never expected to read I imagine.

We talked a lot about why storage facilities are a thing.  Why the heck do people have so much stuff that they need extra space to store that stuff.

We now have hot water.

I will be starting a new podcast where I interview scientists study animal cognition.   Should I release them as I get them or hoard them up a bit?  Should I talk about non science stuff too?

We got some comments last time and we always appreciate those.

Just for MMD, Isabelle told the butt crack story.

What is a podcast anyway?
