Episode 76 - Dave's Record Collection

Well, back at the shopping and the podcasting and the what have you.  

Only 1000 of this EP were ever made

Jon joined us for this one as did Isabelle's friend Peggy.  Isabelle is 'going across' today (which is a local euphemism for going to Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan) to pick up a package.  There is a place there that let's you ship to them, for a fee.  Often international shipping rates are horrible, but within the US is fine.  So, Isabelle had some art supplies shipped to this place, she will pick it up and pay the duty.  This made us think of the show 'Border Security'.  Peggy came along because she has stuff to get as well, and, she knows the drill.  

We spoke, in passing, of the never ending federal election campaign.

Oh, the title?  It comes from the fact that I have been ripping old records to mp3s and you will hear some of my collection in the next few podcasts.

Episode 75 - The Chronicles of Sarnia

This episode has absolutely nothing to do with Sarnia.  However, Isabelle was watching Narnia last night and I thought up this clever title and god damn it, I'm going to use it.

It was quite the grocery cast, Jon came along as he had to chose his new PIN for his bank card. 

Ontario has very stringent anti texting and driving laws and the fines are quite big.  This led us into a discussion of the texting culture and the sort of minute by minute nature of it.

We also talked about a seemingly fake artist.  Then Bossjock fucked up, but I caught it and restarted.  It is a great story (not the Bossjock screw up, the fake art guy).

Episode 74 - The Long Road Back

Well, we just finished dropping Madeleine and Ross off in London and helping them move in.  We travelled there though Canada with all of their worldly possessions in a U Haul trailer.

Most of this was recorded on the way home, through the US.  USA! USA!

There are a few interesting bonus bits in the podcast, be sure to listen all of the way through.  The bit at the beginning was the US border guard letting us in, the sound quality there is not that great....
