Episode 81 - Will Isabelle Michaud Please Come To Customer Service

So, I am not sure if you know this, but we had an election.  The election turned out the way that both Isabelle and I wanted.  Especially the ousting of the current PM.  We both have quite a bit of hope about the upcoming four years.  Who knows, maybe we won't be disappointed.

Well then we went shopping and Isabelle lost her purse, which is what the title refers to.  However, happily, they found it and asked her to come get it.  This led us into a discussion of losing stuff in general.

Isabelle talked a lot about growing up with not very much stuff so she learned not to care too much about stuff.  Still, it is sad that she lost that necklace when she was young.

Episode 80 - Useless Points

Yeah, that is pretty much what I make, useless points.

So the federal election is coming up.  We didn't get too political, but we did talk about the election in general terms.

Isabelle is not a fan of anything.  Well not anything except the Addams Family.

We got a bit serious talking about the Middle Ease and military intervention.  Still, a good time was had by all.  Oh a little something for MMD at the end there.

Episode 79 - Art Carney Mon Amour

Former head of the Bank of Canada, Chickley Mindaboo

Former head of the Bank of Canada, Chickley Mindaboo

Another day, another trip shopping.

Jon was along again, but not too interested in the podcast.

In this one we talked a bit about working out, a bit about Isabelle's print making, a bit about the Group of Seven and a bit about last night's French debate.  Oh, as an aside, I won that debate....

About the Group of Seven, are they just a bunch of hacks who we in Canada love because they are Canadian (a la the Tragically Hip) or are they a thing in other parts of the world?

Oh, and Art Carney was never the head of the Bank of Canada.
