Episode 125 - Chicken Nuggets Cooked In Orange Juice

More groceries and liquor, more podcasting.

Jon came with us again today.  He even chose two of the songs for today, you can probably guess which two.

Jon's musical tastes are varied as you can tell from his choices.  Mine are two, I like all of the U2 albums.  Isabelle likes something called 'world music' which I think is some sort of plot to stop America Being Great™ but I think if we put up a wall we'll be fine.

Isabelle went swimming this morning, and her friend got what might have been spider bites, that doesn't sound good.

Generally, stay away from stagnant water really.

We talked about the best stuff Isabelle had to eat in Morocco and Algeria.  She was not a fan of the curdled milk.

Episode 124 - Groceryumentary

Hey I'm on holidays!  Yes, I know, I was on sabbatical, but I still had work, just not teaching work.  OK, in the summer I wouldn't teach either and then there'd be emails I would ignore.  So maybe my month of holidays is not that different.

We had a power outage last night.  Our UPS works!

It was Civic Holiday weekend, the most generic of the holidays.

I'm great at everything.

I got alcoholic root beer!

Our friend Pat died just the other day, we dedicate this podcast to her and her family.  She meant a great deal to us, and was very close with Isabelle.

Episode 123 - A Little Later Than Usual

Isabelle has been grant writing and such, so we went shopping a little later than we normally do.

I really shouldn't be saying 'went' because i am typing this before we go.

I've been cycling a lot.  I'm also thinking of slowly restoring my old (30 year old) bike.  Yesterday Jon and I went on a 10 km ride (there and back) to the pet store and to Subway.  We had an interesting thing happen to us.

It's crazy season in US politics, so perhaps that will come up.  Like I said, I really have no idea, we haven't recorded yet......

OK, so now we have recorded and I made a few good guesses there.

Hey, Isabelle won second prize in an art show, for a cool thing she did on her phone!  You can see it in this post.

We're gonna eat fajitas and drink blender drinks tonight, as it is 33 degrees out, but, we still want to see Bill Clinton tonight.

Oh we got stopped for a bit by a train, which Jon said he would 'take down'.
