Episode 148 - The Aftermath

Our holidays are over.  Well almost over.  I mean it is the weekend so I guess technically, man, I dunno.

Mom was on the podcast last week to much acclaim, her visit was fun too.

We had a lot of talk in this one about how and why we podcast.  You know it seems that people want to turn everything into a 'seven steps to increase your podcastness' or something.  We, on the other hand, just do it because it is fun.  We've met a lot of great people this way.

Oh right, we got gas today, so an extra stop, at no extra cost to you, the listener.

Isabelle and Mom watched a bunch of Bob Ross when Mom visited.  So that got us talking a bit about Bob Ross and his particular style.

Enjoy

Episode 147 - Velorutions for Jesus

Hey, my Mom is here!  So, she joined us in the grocery cast which is pretty great.

On the way to the store we talked about Christmas lights.  What the hell is the deal with people overdoing Christmas lights?  Mom said that there is a guy in London who has a pretty ridiculous setup.  It turns out that there are even competitions about Christmas lights.

Isabelle got a special edition of Life magazine about Bob Dylan.

What's the deal on Jews for Jesus?  Rachel?  Anyone?

Episode 146 - Windshield Wiper Acceptance

We didn't do a grocery cast last week as things were hectic, but in a good way.

But, today we needed a new windshield wiper!  So, why not record.  Isabelle installed it and she is now officially I think a mechanic, so for your automotive questions ask Isabelle.....

We recounted our experience with our 1970s Christmas Eve dinner, which included pineapple glazed ham, aspic, Buffalo wings and chocolate fondue.  (Each year on Christmas Eve we make a meal where each of us cooks something).  The aspic was more a prop really.

Canned vegetables?  Who buys them?  Why do they buy them?

Oh then we heard a guy yell like me.
