Jon and I went to the eye doctor this morning, but, more importantly, Jon saw '2 Guns' last night so he gives us his review.
Jon and I went to the eye doctor this morning, but, more importantly, Jon saw '2 Guns' last night so he gives us his review.
On our way for a little overnight trip in Sudbury, Jon, of course, wanted to record.
We took a walk, I took my iPhone, and we tried out Bossjock studio. Jon talked about Angry Birds, Star Wars, and Angry Birds Star Wars..... We talked a little about Jon's summer so far as well.
We just got back from a really fun camping trip to Manitoulin Island. Well, the first night was not fun at all, it rained, oh did it rain. About 100 mm the first night. We recorded for a bit that night. Then we recorded on the way home, and, well, my iPhone fell under the seat. Finally we wrapped it up at home.
Thanks to Isabelle and Maddie for driving and thanks for listening. Oh I put a bit of Jon's favourite song in this one, Holiday by Green Day.
Can you post episode 30? Can you post episode 30? I heard that a lot, and, without further.....
We recorded this one while camping. Jon reviews the Movie "The Heat"
We are about to get back on our way home from our big family trip to London and Montreal. However, Jon wanted this one, about our trip to an art exhibit, posted before we leave.
Jon, who is sitting beside me right now, claims he also talked about Epic Meal Time in this episode, I don't remember that, but he is probably right.
We were going To London To visit Jon's Grandma, Then We Drove Through United States and The Bridges....
Approaching the Mackinac Bridge in Northern Michigan
Anyway, Jon Talked about His Movie Ideas, and Then About Going To See his Grandma.
(thanks To Listeners Anthony Marco and Scarborough Dude, Hope You enjoy Jon's show).
(Jon wrote today's post)
Jon, awaiting the competition, probably thinking of movie ideas...
Yes everyone, it is the much anticipated spelling bee episode! Jon got tripped up early in this year's competition, though he did win his classroom bee, beating the eventual school champ in the process. So we have that for you and of course, movie ideas....
Oh and on the way there I was chased by a bee, which somehow is fitting.
Jon playing a little Angry Birds
I tried, I really did. We talked a bit about father's day, a bit about restaurants, then of course, Jon took us to the place he always takes us....
Jon saw the Internship, and he gives it 3 out of 5......
Jon and Isabelle recorded an episode today focussing on a couple of Jon's movie ideas and going out on the tandem bike.
Jon went to see the movie 'Now You See Me' and gives us his review.
Jon and I talk about his recent movie idea, about a community of spiders (these ideas are getting much more interesting) and I give a passerby directions.
Another on the way to school cast where Jon tells us about his upcoming tests in school, and about (another) fictitious movie.....
Jon and Isabelle recording this episode
Jon already doesn't like that title, he just said to me "it's not the Isabelle files". I had to explain to him that it was a joke, now he thinks it is funny. Oh yeah, Jon sits over my shoulder while I edit these things and while I write the posts. I just told him that I have mixed like 1200 podcasts and I half know what I am doing......
Anyway, rant over. Isabelle is being left out of the Jonathan Files, and Jon wanted to do another one today, so it made perfect sense for the two of them to do an episode.
They talked about movies, about why people like movies, and what chick flicks are.
Poor Jon. Today he found out one of his socks had a hole in it while at school. Two holes actually. Anyway, he promptly threw the sock in the garbage. This is not unlike what his grandfather would do with socks with holes in them, genetics etc......
Ahh new socks....
We of course talked about this, about his idea for a movie called 2023 and the markup on movie popcorn (thanks to listener Lynne Honey for that idea).
We went to see Star Trek: Into Darkness and Jon liked it. He then told me about his idea for a Terry Fox movie, which is a great idea, with a great casting choice.
Of course, the real meaning of Victoria Day is discussing fake movies....
Over the weekend Jon saw the movie '42'. We talked about his impressions of it, and a bit about Jackie Robinson.
"Can we do another podcast please?"
You know, I swear like every day Jon says to me "can we record an episode of the Jonathan Files on the way home?" I imagine you have guessed this, what with the frequency of these podcasts. Anyway, today Jon talked about some more My Little Pony stuff, and about his idea for a Bad Piggies movie.
We both hope you like it.
A podcast by two people who like to talk about stuff.....
