Episode 117 - What Kind of Post Nuclear Hellscape Is This?

Yeah, a day late, but there's a good reason.  Isabelle just got back from London where she visited a bit and picked up Madeleine.  Maddie is home until Thursday which is great!  Hey, last night Maddie and I drank Scotch by a backyard bonfire.

So, does it bug you when people make grammatical errors and spelling mistakes on the internet? Do you tell people when they have made mistakes?  I do, well, depending, I mean if it is a typo, no, but if someone spells definitely as 'definately' (man that even hurts to type) I tell them.

THE LCBO IS OUT OF PERNOD, how can I go on?

Isabelle saw some cool art in London, ON.  I noted the art gallery there, Museum London, used to be called the London Regional Art Gallery, which led to the unfortunate acronym 'LRAG'.  It was controversial when it was built because people are idiots.

Episode 116 - A Lot of People Around Here Can't Read

Hey, here we go again.  By here we go again I mean I am typing this before we record.

It's convocation day, so that will probably come up, as will other things, plus, I think we're going to return empties today!

Isabelle went for a run during my shopping trip, turns out a gym she belongs to is actually across the street from the grocery store.  Oh you know it is much easier to exercise if you integrate it into your daily routine.

Isabelle is getting closer to finishing her art degree, that's awesome.

Just because you are an expert in one thing it does not mean you are an expert in everything.

Episode 115 - It's a Family Eatery

We went out a little later today as Isabelle had a show to help set up.

Oh, Isabelle now has her own website, isamichaud.com, which you should check out.

Apparently Isabelle's work is winning the bidding war at the art show.  This is how I view art, it is possible to win or lose.

Jon came shopping with us and we had a bit of a conversation about visiting our friend Ken and having a nice time over at his place.  Jon held a baby, lots.

The title has literally nothing to do with the podcast, but, Jon came up with it....

We talked a bit about Bruno Bettelheim, a 'psychologist' (he probably didn't have a PhD in psych, indeed, he probably only ever took three intro courses) and his views on autism.  Isabelle is reading his stuff for an art project/grant she is putting together.
