Episode 123 - A Little Later Than Usual

Isabelle has been grant writing and such, so we went shopping a little later than we normally do.

I really shouldn't be saying 'went' because i am typing this before we go.

I've been cycling a lot.  I'm also thinking of slowly restoring my old (30 year old) bike.  Yesterday Jon and I went on a 10 km ride (there and back) to the pet store and to Subway.  We had an interesting thing happen to us.

It's crazy season in US politics, so perhaps that will come up.  Like I said, I really have no idea, we haven't recorded yet......

OK, so now we have recorded and I made a few good guesses there.

Hey, Isabelle won second prize in an art show, for a cool thing she did on her phone!  You can see it in this post.

We're gonna eat fajitas and drink blender drinks tonight, as it is 33 degrees out, but, we still want to see Bill Clinton tonight.

Oh we got stopped for a bit by a train, which Jon said he would 'take down'.

Episode 122 - A Beautiful Day

So, we went shopping a day early as Isabelle's birthday is tomorrow, and, well, she hates shopping.  So it seemed to make sense to not have her do something she dislikes on her birthday.  Today is also the 12th anniversary of our arrival back here in Sault Ste. Marie from Corner Brook.

Isabelle has been visiting our friend Pat a lot.  You've probably heard her talk about that.

Good looking people do better in life, it's a thing.  Indeed, people probably base some of their vote on looks.  I don't think they do it on purpose but they do.  I talked a bit about honest signalling and looks and bird plumage and symmetry and beauty and man I felt like I was teaching.

I've been working on my upcoming courses and Isabelle will be soon too.

Everyone wish Isabelle a happy birthday.

Episode 121 - Our Long National Nightmare Is Over

So, off we went today, along with Jonathan, to do some shopping.

I just got back from MMPR, and I had a great time.  I saw a few people, many of them listeners, and recorded a bit.  There ended up being a running theme throughout, though it was not planned that way.  It is probably the case that that happens each year.

We got some new tables, I put them together yesterday, this was the opposite of fun, though I think I kept my cool pretty well.

While I was gone Isabelle and Jon had some good Mom and son time, so that is a good thing.

THEY HAVE PERNOD AGAIN.  I repeat, THEY HAVE PERNOD AGAIN.
