Episode 115 - It's a Family Eatery

We went out a little later today as Isabelle had a show to help set up.

Oh, Isabelle now has her own website, isamichaud.com, which you should check out.

Apparently Isabelle's work is winning the bidding war at the art show.  This is how I view art, it is possible to win or lose.

Jon came shopping with us and we had a bit of a conversation about visiting our friend Ken and having a nice time over at his place.  Jon held a baby, lots.

The title has literally nothing to do with the podcast, but, Jon came up with it....

We talked a bit about Bruno Bettelheim, a 'psychologist' (he probably didn't have a PhD in psych, indeed, he probably only ever took three intro courses) and his views on autism.  Isabelle is reading his stuff for an art project/grant she is putting together.

Episode 114 - Dude, Spoilers

We're back, and I'm back typing this stuff before we go out for today's errands.

Isabelle went to Sudbury yesterday for some art dealio, so I imagine that will come up.  Aha, told you, indeed it did.

Weirdly there is a teeny screw up at the beginning, I've no idea what happened there, but it isn't your player, it's my phone.  (Apparently we had a title there, but I can't remember it, and that is where the recording messed up for about like 30 seconds).

Isabelle may be going camping with some friends soon, with our trailer, so i will have to give her a trailer setup course.  It is easy.

Why do people get so upset about spoilers?  I mean I understand really big things, but man, people seem to thing everything is a spoiler.  Even that we won WW2.

Please encourage Isabelle to restart Isabits!

What will today bring?  I don't know, I'm writing this post before we go shopping.  I got back from Toronto where I had a whirlwind tour, ok, where I went to a COU meeting.  It was pretty good, plus i got some laughs.  Later that night I met up with Brent Morris, and we had a couple of beers.

Why do people dislike dandelions?  Really?  They aren't that big a deal.

Today we dropped off empties, so there's an extra song!

We've spoken about graffiti before, and shall speak of it again.  There has been a rash of graffiti in town by a kid (allegedly) who paints the word 'Bored' everywhere.  Well, the police think they have the guy, which is good.  This led us into a discussion about art, vandalism, and other stuff.

We spoke about part time faculty, and what challenges they face.

Oh, and Isabelle bought a baby gate, which sounds like a controversy.
